WholeHealth Weight Management provides an effective strategy to meet your weight loss goals within a safe and supportive environment. Our state of the art approach provides medical supervision for patients on low and very low calorie diets as well as for those with related medical conditions; focusing on intensive lifestyle education, dietary calorie restriction, and physical activity. The structured approach includes weekly classes and midweek phone contact designed to reduce choices and facilitate accountability and adherence to the plan. We offer several weight loss options and we will help you choose the best fit to achieve better health. Successful weight management is a matter of learning and practicing new skills, while addressing old habits and attitudes around food choices. Most important is keeping the weight off, a crucial feature provided by our weight maintenance program. Whole health is our goal and we have the tools and skills to help you achieve this.Diet Options
· VLCD (Very Low Calorie Diet)
This is a medically supervised, all liquid option, that promotes rapid weight loss. Weekly behavioral modification classes are required.
· LCD (Low Calorie Diet)
This plan includes a combination of shakes and prepackaged meals (11 choices). Medical supervision is at discretion of the medical director following a discussion with the patient.
· Healthy Solutions
In addition to the shakes and entrees, this plan includes fruits and vegetables. Medical supervision is not required.
· At Home
This program is suitable for people who are unable to attend the weekly classes. Participants can link into a conference call. Meal replacement products are shipped to any location.
· Maintenance
After the weight loss phase, participants attend weekly classes where they continue to receive support, while learning additional, simple strategies for successful long-term weight management. Overweight and obesity are chronic conditions requiring long term therapy.
· Self Directed
This program provides step-by-step guidance that offers flexibility in meal choices to help you lose weight on your own.
